alderman candidate Brendan Reilly returns $1,000 contribution from Dentons US, LLP

The campaign committee of alderman candidate Brendan Reilly, Citizens for Alderman Reilly, returned a $1,000 contribution from Dentons US, LLP on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Dentons US, LLP has not made any other contributions to Brendan Reilly in the past 12 months.
