The campaign committee of alderman candidate Brendan Reilly, Citizens for Alderman Reilly, returned a $10,000 contribution from Riverside Investment & Development Company. on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Riverside Investment & Development Company. has not made any other contributions to Brendan Reilly in the past 12 months.
