Chicago alderman candidate Jason Ervin returns $1,500 contribution from Cicero & Lake, Inc.

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Jason Ervin, Citizens for Ervin, returned a $1,500 contribution from Cicero & Lake, Inc. on July 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Cicero & Lake, Inc. has not made any other contributions to Jason Ervin in the past 12 months.
