Chicago alderman candidate Jason Ervin returns $1,000 contribution from Conlon Public Strategies

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Jason Ervin, Citizens for Ervin, returned a $1,000 contribution from Conlon Public Strategies on July 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Conlon Public Strategies has not made any other contributions to Jason Ervin in the past 12 months.
