alderman candidate George A Cardenas returns $2,000 contribution from 3600 Western Group LLC

The campaign committee of alderman candidate George A Cardenas, Friends of George A Cardenas, returned a $2,000 contribution from 3600 Western Group LLC on Jan. 5, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. 3600 Western Group LLC has not made any other contributions to George A Cardenas in the past 12 months.
