alderman candidate George A Cardenas returns $3,000 contribution from Chicago Indoor Sports LLC

The campaign committee of alderman candidate George A Cardenas, Friends of George A Cardenas, returned a $3,000 contribution from Chicago Indoor Sports LLC on July 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Chicago Indoor Sports LLC has not made any other contributions to George A Cardenas in the past 12 months.
