alderman candidate George A Cardenas returns $10,050 contribution from MAT Leasing Inc

The campaign committee of alderman candidate George A Cardenas, Friends of George A Cardenas, returned a $10,050 contribution from MAT Leasing Inc on Jan. 5, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. MAT Leasing Inc has not made any other contributions to George A Cardenas in the past 12 months.
