Chicago alderman candidate Gilbert Villegas returns $400 contribution from Daniel Greenman & Co.

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Gilbert Villegas, Friends of Gilbert Villegas, returned a $400 contribution from Daniel Greenman & Co. on March 4, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Daniel Greenman & Co. has not made any other contributions to Gilbert Villegas in the past 12 months.
