alderman candidate Michael Negron returns $1,500 contribution from Lakeside Bank

The campaign committee of alderman candidate Michael Negron, Friends of Michael Negron, returned a $1,500 contribution from Lakeside Bank on July 12, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Lakeside Bank has not made any other contributions to Michael Negron in the past 12 months.
