Chicago alderman candidate Patrick Daley Thompson returns $1,000 contribution from V M & Associates #1 Inc.

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Patrick Daley Thompson, Friends of Patrick D Thompson, returned a $1,000 contribution from V M & Associates #1 Inc. on Oct. 12, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. V M & Associates #1 Inc. has not made any other contributions to Patrick Daley Thompson in the past 12 months.
