Chicago alderman candidate Raymond A Lopez returns $500 contribution from Brackenbox

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Raymond A Lopez, Friends of Raymond A Lopez, returned a $500 contribution from Brackenbox on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Brackenbox has not made any other contributions to Raymond A Lopez in the past 12 months.
