Chicago alderman candidate Raymond A Lopez returns $250 contribution from Melissa Hurley

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Raymond A Lopez, Friends of Raymond A Lopez, returned a $250 contribution from Melissa Hurley on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Hurley has not made any other contributions to Raymond A Lopez in the past 12 months.
