assessor candidate Joseph Berrios returns $1,250 contribution from Calumet City Plumbing

The campaign committee of assessor candidate Joseph Berrios, Joseph Berrios, 31st Ward Committeeman, returned a $1,250 contribution from Calumet City Plumbing on Oct. 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Calumet City Plumbing has not made any other contributions to Joseph Berrios in the past 12 months.
