The campaign committee of assessor candidate Joseph Berrios, Joseph Berrios, 31st Ward Committeeman, returned a $2,500 contribution from Much Shelist Attorneys at Law on April 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Much Shelist Attorneys at Law has not made any other contributions to Joseph Berrios in the past 12 months.
