Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel returns $5,000 contribution from 735 Junior Terrace Building Corp.

The campaign committee of Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel, Chicago for Rahm Emanuel, returned a $5,000 contribution from 735 Junior Terrace Building Corp. on July 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. 735 Junior Terrace Building Corp. has not made any other contributions to Rahm Emanuel in the past 12 months.
