Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel returns $1,250 contribution from Roofing Industry Advancement & Research Fund

The campaign committee of Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel, Chicago for Rahm Emanuel, returned a $1,250 contribution from Roofing Industry Advancement & Research Fund on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Roofing Industry Advancement & Research Fund has not made any other contributions to Rahm Emanuel in the past 12 months.
