state senator candidate John J Cullerton returns $2,000 contribution from Express Scripts, INC

The campaign committee of state senator candidate John J Cullerton, Citizens for John Cullerton for State Senate, returned a $2,000 contribution from Express Scripts, INC on Oct. 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Express Scripts, INC has not made any other contributions to John J Cullerton in the past 12 months.
