The campaign committee of committeeman candidate John Cullerton, Committee to Support John Cullerton for State Central Committeeman, returned a $53,900 contribution from UA Political Education Committee on April 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. UA Political Education Committee has not made any other contributions to John Cullerton in the past 12 months.
