Chicago ward committeeman candidate Pat Dowell returns $1,000 contribution from Jeffrey Robert Palo

The campaign committee of Chicago ward committeeman candidate Pat Dowell, Citizens for Pat Dowell, returned a $1,000 contribution from Jeffrey Robert Palo on Jan. 13, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Palo has not made any other contributions to Pat Dowell in the past 12 months.
