The campaign committee of committeewoman candidate Michelle A Harris, Citizens for Michelle Harris, returned a $250 contribution from Marcus J. Nunes on July 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Nunes has not made any other contributions to Michelle A Harris in the past 12 months.
