assessor candidate Fritz Kaegi returns $5,555.55 contribution from Ben Andrews

The campaign committee of assessor candidate Fritz Kaegi, Friends for Fritz, returned a $5,555.55 contribution from Ben Andrews on Sept. 23, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Andrews has not made any other contributions to Fritz Kaegi in the past 12 months.
