commissioner candidate Regner "Ray" Suarez returns $450 contribution from Tropical Optical

The campaign committee of commissioner candidate Regner "Ray" Suarez, La Providencia, returned a $450 contribution from Tropical Optical on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Tropical Optical has not made any other contributions to Regner "Ray" Suarez in the past 12 months.
