The campaign committee of commissioner candidate Regner "Ray" Suarez, La Providencia, returned a $375 contribution from Value Auto Mart, Inc. on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Value Auto Mart, Inc. has not made any other contributions to Regner "Ray" Suarez in the past 12 months.
