Chicago ward committeeman candidate Robert Murphy returns $250 contribution from Electra Kontolonis

The campaign committee of Chicago ward committeeman candidate Robert Murphy, Neighbors for Robert Murphy, returned a $250 contribution from Electra Kontolonis on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Kontolonis has not made any other contributions to Robert Murphy in the past 12 months.
