alderman candidate Patrick J O'Connor returns $800 contribution from Wight & Company

The campaign committee of alderman candidate Patrick J O'Connor, Citizens for Patrick O'Connor, returned a $800 contribution from Wight & Company on July 11, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Wight & Company has not made any other contributions to Patrick J O'Connor in the past 12 months.
