president candidate Toni Preckwinkle returns $250 contribution from Transystems Corporation

The campaign committee of president candidate Toni Preckwinkle, Preckwinkle for President, returned a $250 contribution from Transystems Corporation on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Transystems Corporation has not made any other contributions to Toni Preckwinkle in the past 12 months.
