governor candidate Bruce V Rauner returns $50 contribution from John Kemper

The campaign committee of governor candidate Bruce V Rauner, Citizens for Rauner, Inc, returned a $50 contribution from John Kemper on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Kemper has not made any other contributions to Bruce V Rauner in the past 12 months.
