The campaign committee of governor candidate Bruce V Rauner, Citizens for Rauner, Inc, returned a $1,000 contribution from Charles J. Moore on April 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Moore has not made any other contributions to Bruce V Rauner in the past 12 months.
