The campaign committee of judge (Cook County Subcircuit) candidate Anthony E Simpkins, Committee to Elect Anthony E Simpkins, returned a $200 contribution from 8th Ward Regular Democratic Organization on Jan. 12, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. 8th Ward Regular Democratic Organization has not made any other contributions to Anthony E Simpkins in the past 12 months.
