Cook County commissioner candidate Robert Steele returns $250 contribution from Global Tel Link Corporation

The campaign committee of Cook County commissioner candidate Robert Steele, Friends of Robert Steele, returned a $250 contribution from Global Tel Link Corporation on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Global Tel Link Corporation has not made any other contributions to Robert Steele in the past 12 months.
