alderman candidate Michele Smith returns $2,500 contribution from Intro Chicago

The campaign committee of alderman candidate Michele Smith, Friends of Michele Smith, returned a $2,500 contribution from Intro Chicago on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Intro Chicago has not made any other contributions to Michele Smith in the past 12 months.
