Chicago city treasurer candidate Kurt A Summers, Jr returns $1,000 contribution from Old Veteran Construction, Inc.

The campaign committee of Chicago city treasurer candidate Kurt A Summers, Jr, Summers for Chicago, returned a $1,000 contribution from Old Veteran Construction, Inc. on April 11, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Old Veteran Construction, Inc. has not made any other contributions to Kurt A Summers, Jr in the past 12 months.
