Chicago city treasurer candidate Kurt A Summers, Jr returns $500 contribution from The Private Bank

The campaign committee of Chicago city treasurer candidate Kurt A Summers, Jr, Summers for Chicago, returned a $500 contribution from The Private Bank on Oct. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. The Private Bank has not made any other contributions to Kurt A Summers, Jr in the past 12 months.
