Bucktown home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Bucktown, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $5,500 while total sales increased by 32.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 101 homes sold, with a median sale price of $502,000 - a 1.1% increase over the $496,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Bucktown in the first quarter of 2016.
