West Town home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in West Town, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $78,000 while total sales decreased by 13.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 63 homes sold, with a median sale price of $477,000 - a 19.5% increase over the $399,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 73 homes sold in West Town in the first quarter of 2016.
