Lakeview home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Lakeview, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $14,750 while total sales increased by 16.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 285 homes sold, with a median sale price of $449,000 - a 3.4% increase over the $434,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 244 homes sold in Lakeview in the first quarter of 2016.
