River North home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in River North, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $51,250 while total sales decreased by 1.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $350,000 - a 12.8% decrease over the $401,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in River North in the first quarter of 2016.
