Kenwood home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Kenwood, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $66,750 while total sales decreased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $272,250 - a 32.5% increase over the $205,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Kenwood in the first quarter of 2016.
