Edgewater home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Edgewater, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $36,000 while total sales decreased by 5.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 127 homes sold, with a median sale price of $204,000 - a 15% decrease over the $240,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 135 homes sold in Edgewater in the first quarter of 2016.
