Near West Side home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Near West Side, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $12,750 while total sales decreased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 119 homes sold, with a median sale price of $405,000 - a 3.3% increase over the $392,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 136 homes sold in Near West Side in the second quarter of 2017.
