Uptown home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Uptown, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $55,500 while total sales decreased by 16.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 138 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,000 - a 22.7% increase over the $244,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 166 homes sold in Uptown in the second quarter of 2017.
