Norwood Park home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Norwood Park, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $7,500 while total sales increased by 22.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 174 homes sold, with a median sale price of $319,750 - a 2.4% increase over the $312,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 142 homes sold in Norwood Park in the first half of 2016.
