Beverly home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Beverly, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $17,250 while total sales decreased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 132 homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,000 - a 6.4% increase over the $267,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 144 homes sold in Beverly in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Beverly for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,830, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
