Moms for Liberty, a parental rights group, has called for the dismissal of Emily Hernandez Rayburn, a first-grade teacher at Sunny Hill Elementary in Barrington District 220. The demand follows a Facebook post in which she reportedly wished death upon President Trump.

Rayburn, who teaches at Sunny Hill Elementary School in Carpentersville, Illinois, came under scrutiny after her online comment circulated widely. In the post, she expressed strong negative feelings toward President Trump and wished for his demise. "Makes me so sick. God I hate him, why can’t he die? That’s the only way to end this insane cult that has taken over our country," she wrote. This statement has sparked concerns about her judgment and professionalism as an educator.

According to the Barrington 220 School District’s official directory, Hernandez is confirmed as a first-grade teacher at Sunny Hill Elementary School. She resides in Crystal Lake with her husband, Ryan Rayburn, who is noted on her business website as having over 23 years of experience as a professional photographer.

Hernandez also operates Emily Hernandez Photography in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. Her business offers various services including family portraits, newborn sessions, preschool photography, event coverage, weddings, and professional headshots.

In a related incident reported by ABC News, Peter Stinson, a former U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant trained as a sharpshooter, was arrested for making violent threats against Donald Trump online. Authorities detained him after these threats were flagged as criminal behavior.

Moms for Liberty has gained significant influence in education politics and is endorsed by Republican Party figures. The group is known for its involvement in school board debates and local elections and has been both praised and criticized for its tactics regarding educators.
