Portage Park home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Portage Park, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $38,000 while total sales decreased by 1.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 751 homes sold, with a median sale price of $308,000 - a 14.1% increase over the $270,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 765 homes sold in Portage Park in 2016.
