Jefferson Park home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Jefferson Park, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $17,500 while total sales increased by 15.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $232,500 - a 8.1% increase over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Jefferson Park in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Jefferson Park for 2017 was $4,679. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,530. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
