Chinatown home prices fall in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in Chinatown, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $101,000 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 28% decrease over the $361,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Chinatown in February 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Chinatown for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,063, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for February 2019.
