Gail proposed to include non-residents and change the category of “high school” students to “students” ACTION: All – revisit rules after May 20 event.
Erica will reach out to Paula at DWA to thank Downtown Businesses for their sacrifice through construction pain at the Good Citizen Award Ceremony
Military Update
ACTION: Nelson - wIll meet with Emily from Midwest Shelter before the next meeting to determine where needs are - Using the mission of our commission to highlight that there are these groups doing great work
Working with Emily to publicize mentor program for Midwest Shelter veterans - ACTION: Nelson to invite Emily to June Meeting - how do we connect you to the community for volunteers
