The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Robyn Gabel (D-18) on Feb. 14, "makes various appropriations to the Department of Human Services from the General Revenue Fund for rate increases for certified community mental health centers and community day services providers and grants to licensed providers of community-based addiction treatment services for persons with substance use disorders, reducing uncompensated hours in community-integrated living arrangements, increasing base nursing reimbursements to nurses in 5 to 8 bed community-integrated living arrangements, and increasing administration cost reimbursements in community-integrated living arrangements" and "effective July 1, 2019," according to the General Assembly website.
The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: Kelly M. Cassidy (D-14), Sara Feigenholtz (D-12), Mary E. Flowers (D-31), Will Guzzardi (D-39), Anna Moeller (D-43), Bob Morgan (D-58), Celina Villanueva (D-21) and Kathleen Willis (D-77).
