2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60645?

There were 70 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60645, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chicago City Wire.

The data shows that the 70 released offenders living in the Chicago zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 44. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 63-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Alexander Porter. He was convicted of a property crime in 2004, when he was 32 years old. He is now 47.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
